Wednesday Wall2Wall ☆ Tea Table & Interior Design

I was invited to a tea by my Japanese friend whom I met thanks to my best friend and neighbor. The tea table was beautifully decorated by my friend. I could not help asking her for a permission to take photos thinking I would love to have them for my blog post. So, here they are. I am, however, trying to be careful because I definitely do not want my friends to perceive that I always take photos if I come visit my friends or if I don’t take out my camera that means something.

I love the little details she put in her design.

The scones were home-made and they were delicious.

The different kinds of confiture were brought home from Bali. The subtle sweetness was just perfect.

The chocolate pieces were from a chocolate shop in Kemang, South Jakarta, which my friend told me about. Apparently it is owned by a Belgian. I have to go check it out!! I will let you know about this store after I have a chance to visit. It was delicious.

A beautiful tea cup was from Jenggala from Bali. There is also a store in Kemang, Jakarta. Click here for the store information. I have to go to Jenggala to buy their products!!

My friend has a beautiful living room as well. I love the chic colors of those foam mats that compliment the room!! She brought them from Japan.

My friend made this branches in a pot. It was a beautiful piece in the room which caught my attention. The branches were painted in gold. It’s a great DIY project, don’t you think?

My friend has twin boys. Thus, two of the same items. Aren’t they adorable?

Even the toy basket was adorable and chic.

The time flew as we chatted away. This was the moment I was so happy to be in Jakarta.

Very cute! I have heard about jenggala but always forgot to research about it. Thanks for the link. I really loved all the kids stuff. I think having a big open space where kids and parents hang out together is awesome!

  1. […] I went to one of the women’s associations’ bazaars in the spring 2013 (There are many in Jakarta and you must check them out if you live there! They are really fun and provide great opportunities for you to discover local venders.) and saw Paisley Things. I didn’t buy anything from Paisley Things then, but later my stylish Japanese friend, Masako, took me to Paisley Things. Remember her? She is the one who introduced me to a Spanish tapas restaurant Plan B, a cute zakka store Tan Living, discount dish-ware shop called Toko Dewi, gorgeous cafe inside Papilion in Kemang called Huize van Wely, and Harvest Cafe. She also had me over at her place for stylish morning tea. […]
