Friday Finds ☆ Lucy’s Batik

If you live in Jakarta as an expat and when you visit families and friends back home, you probably want to buy souvenir from Indonesia for your family and friends or even for yourself. Lucy’s would be the place to look for knickknacks from Indonesia. I have gone to Lucy’s twice and both times I have seen many Japanese customers, so I believe that this shop is popular among Japanese women. In fact, it was my Japanese friend who introduced me to a fabulous store, Lucy’s, in Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. There are also Lucy’s in two locations in Bali. To check their addresses in Bali, please click here.

One of my dear friends gave me a Jewelry case for travel as a gift, which looks just like one of the jewelry cases in the photo above. I use the jewelry case every single time I travel and I love it. I like giving a jewelry case to my girl friends as a gift as well because I know that they would be handy for them, too.

There is a room on the right side of a cashier that displays cool designed clothes made with batik and Indonesian style fabric. It is a must check.

Jl. Gedung Hijau Raya no.27,
Pondok Indah – Jakarta Selatan

The gate and the next door to Lucy’s look like the photos below. I hope they will help you find Lucy’s because it was not so easy to spot it on the street.

Have a great weekend!!
