Lunch at Le Mistral ☆ Houston, Texas

Le Mistral

My husband’s stepmother’s father treated us to a lovely lunch at Le Mistral, a charming French bistro in Houston, Texas during our visit in the summer 2012. It was very sweet of him to take us out for lunch. He has always been very kind to us and he cares about our kids, which means a lot to my husband and myself. Our lunch meeting was also joined by another family member whom we were very happy to see during this trip. I was glad we were able to see them and introduce our baby boy to them in Houston. My husband’s stepmother’s father is internet savvy (he emails and reads blogs) and even reads my blog at his age. He is a hip grand-pa. I was really flattered to learn that he actually visits my blog. It was very encouraging to know that and it makes me want to write more frequently so that I can keep him updated on our life.

There were two choices of course meal for lunch hours at Le Mistral and it was delicious. Thinking about the food at Le Mistral makes me hungry. Le Mistral is a restaurant that offers great quality food with stylish atmosphere. I find the lunch price very reasonable. Le Mistral is owned by French chefs, I believe they are brothers. I was very impressed by the taste (not that I’m a foodie), presentation and pricing.

There is also a pastry shop by Le Mistral next to the restaurant where you find beautiful and delicious desserts. Grand-pa bought each of my kids a dessert which they got to pick. Lucky them!!
