Wednesday Wall2Wall ☆ Pirate Theme Birthday Party

During my stay with my second child, 4-year-old, in Singapore to have my 3rd child, my daughter was invited to go to a birthday party of the children of my blogger friend there. I met Marie of Etincelle Creative Studio during the online blogging course, Blogging Your Way, I took in September 2010. Marie is a French blogger who is very talented with crafting and sewing. She has an Etsy shop where she sells beautiful creations. Marie is the sweetest person. I contacted her a few weeks before I left for Singapore and after I had arrived at the beginning of February, 2012, 6 weeks before my due date, she arranged to meet up and took me under her wing. She made our life in Singapore for me and my daughter easier and more fun.

She had a pirate theme birthday party for her daughter and son in February when I was still pregnant. She collected the inspirations she found on her Pinterest board. The party venue was decorated with red, blue and black and adorable pirate decorations. It was filled with Marie’s talent. The children were having a lot of fun making pirates with paper plates, putting sticker tattoos, face painting, and scavenger hunt. It is a great theme for both girls and boys.

I am grateful that I met Marie and her family. If I didn’t have this blog and didn’t take the Blogging Your Way online course, I would have not met her. Life is interesting.

Oh my goodness Kaho, this is the best post about a party I have done! I haven’t posted any pictures on my blog as I think the styling was too poor to be published but you prove me wrong! I am so happy and grateful that you took the time to write this post and took such gorgeous pictures.
It was amazing to meet up with you in Singapore after so many months of online chatting and support, and I hope we will catch up in Japan next :-)
    Merci!
